Jess Golding Clinches Victory in 2023 Queensland F100 State Championship

In a thrilling conclusion to the 2023 Queensland F100 State Championship, Jess Golding (Birel) emerged triumphant, securing the QLD State Championship title with an 8-point lead over championship contender Damien Assallit (PCR). The competition was fierce all season, and it all came down to the final round where Golding's calculated determination propelled her to the top step.

Golding was a force to be reckoned with throughout the season taking out 3 of the 4 season’s Pole Positions and started every final from the front row. She finished on the podium every round.

Notably, Damien Assallit proved to be a formidable opponent, pushing Golding to the limits in every round. The championship race kept fans everyone on  the edge of their seats as the competition unfolded, culminating in a nail-biting final round where Golding secured the victory and the prestigious title.

Adding to the excitement of the podium finish, Nathan Assaillit, brother of Damien and also racing in a PCR, secured third position in the championship.
